Twin Hammer Volley is a move used by Heihachi Mishima from Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection to Tekken 7.

This attack was replaced by Heaven's Merciless Wrath in Tekken 8, although the final hit's animation would be reused in the Demon Shout Volley as its final hit.

Description

The move is a extension for Twin Hammers by ending with a double chop to the opponent's midsection with both hands. The second hit can be delayed. Initially this would make the string unable to combo naturally (forcing an instant commitment to guarantee the second hit) but in Tekken 7's fourth season the first hit was given new frame data that allowed even the delayed hit to combo naturally.

Trivia

  • Prior to its introduction, the second hit first appeared in Soulcalibur III as part of Lynette's movelist. Similarly, the second hit was also the follow-up to Lynette's 2B.
