Tidal Wave also known as Shoulder-locking Throat Drop (肩固め喉輪落とし,Katagatame-Nodowa-otoshi?) is a throw used by Jin Kazama since Tekken 4.
Description
Jin locks his opponent's left arm by bracing his right arm between their shoulder and face. From there he jumps up with his opponent and slams their face into the ground with their arm still in the wrench.
In Street Fighter X Tekken, the move became faster to execute, and Jin enters Mental Alertness after executing the throw.
Trivia
- Tidal Wave has a secret input that increases its damage by inputting u/b3+4 just before the throw starts up. If done correctly, Jin will make a different sound during the throw animation and deal an additional 2 points of damage.
