Hellfire Blast

Hellfire Blast (雷紅波, Raikō-ha?, Thunder Crimson Wave) is an unblockable move used by Devil Jin since Tekken 5.
This move is similar to Devil's Inferno attack, but Hellfire Blast is much faster than Inferno, and instead of shocking the opponent, it forcefully knocks the opponent to the ground. Notably, while Inferno had a range limit, Hellfire Blast will extend through the entire screen, although at farther distances there is a chance that the beam will wander upwards before it reaches the opponent, therefore missing them.
As of Season 2 of Tekken 8 this attack was given a new command and the original command used since Tekken 7: Fated Retribution has been merged with Hellfire Cannon.
Description
Devil Jin bends forward to gather up energy before sending a beam of light at the opponent.
From its introduction to Tekken 6, the animation of the move ended with Devil Jin grasping at his head presumably in pain, but in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and onward, this portion of the animation has been removed, possibly indicating a greater control over the move.
Usage
Hellfire Blast is a "high risk - high reward" move; though it can take a good chunk of health away, Devil Jin is at the mercy of the opponent if he misses. In most cases, the opponent has enough time to perform their strongest move before Devil Jin regains control. The user can angle Hellfire Blast to the left or right by pressing Up or Down respectfully. Doing this slightly shortens the recovery time, but the user needs to be very close to the opponent to connect this way (or, on the off chance that the opponent side-steps in the same direction, it can be used at a distance).
Hellfire Blast can be avoided by simply crouching or sidestepping. For Jack models and Alisa, they can recover some health after being struck by this move by pressing 1+2.

- In Tekken 5's Devil Within minigame, Devil Jin has a variation of Hellfire Blast that he fires in a 360° degree motion.
- As a boss in Tekken 6's Scenario Campaign, Jin can perform Hellfire Blast without the need of transforming into his Devil form. This has an elemental attack of ice which can freeze the player or the player's partner if the laser connects.[1]
